How to Commission

You never commissioned an artist before and don't know, how to do it? NO PROBLEM!

If you'd like to commission a piece from me, you can easily send me an email with what you have in mind. If possible, it helps a lot if you can already place your request in one of my categories (for example half bust, colored sketch, etc.). Reference pictures and additional details are always very welcome! I'll take a look at your request and decide whether it's something I’d like to work on. If it’s a good fit, I’ll get back to you with an offer including the price and any further details. Once you confirm, a 50% upfront payment is required before I start working on the piece. If I think, I am finished, I send you a low quality version of the finished artwork and if you don't have any complaints, the remaining 50% will be paid once the artwork is finished. After that, you'll receive the final file. ♥ Before commissioning please read the terms of service down below!

Backgrounds for Illustrations

General Information

  • Credit to the artist must be given when posting the commission online

  • It is not allowed to post any high-resolution versions of artworks without watermarks online

  • I retain commercial rights to all illustrations commissioned, which will be available through my Patreon and may be used by me as merchandise unless the client purchases the commercial rights

  • Reselling, altering, or using my art for AI is prohibited

  • All prices are in EUR

  • The prices below count for one character (except emotes)

  • Intellectual property and credits always remain with the artist

  • Complex designs, weapons, and mascots/pets may increase the prices stated below
     

Commercial Information

  • Every commission includes online media rights (profile picture, stream schedule, emotes designated for Twitch/Discord, or similar) without an additional fee

  • Commercial rights will give you full rights to monetize the commission yourself in the form of Patreon, Kofi or similar content, selling or gifting such as but not limited to merchandise, business editorial, etc.

  • Commercial rights will come at a fee equal to the commission price (e.g.: 300€ commission + 300€ commercial rights = 600€ total charge)
     

Ordering Process

  • To request a commission you can contact me through either Discord (ginamie) or e-mail

  • No first come first serve

  • Keep the order information in German or English

  • Please include as much information in your request as possible such as type and personality of the character, type/style of commission, extras, background style, and visual references

  • The artist may decline any commission
     

Work Process

  • Commissions usually take 1-2 months but depending on the complexity it may take up to 6 months

  • Big changes of the composition/character can only be requested during the sketch phase

  • Work in Progress screenshots can be requested by the commissioner at any stage of the commission

  • I will work on commissions in no specific order
     

Payment

  • Payment via PayPal invoice or Bank Transfer (EU only)

  • The commission has to be paid after the sketch has been approved by the commissioner unless discussed otherwise

  • Installments can be discussed

  • No refunds after the sketch has been approved
     

Refunds/Cancellation

  • Commissions may be canceled anytime by the client before I have started working on the art

  • Commissions are non-refundable after the sketch has been approved

  • The artist may stop working on the commission and refund 100% of the paid amount at any time
